Trying to find just the right gift for your hilarious Projector BFF or your can’t-believe-how-amazing-they-are Projector crush? Or maybe you’re in the market for some ideas to put on your own list. Look no further; et voilà, a Projector gift guide from Projectors for Projectors (and those who love us).

A quick note: Some of the links in this post are affiliate links, and Projectors Invited may receive a small commission from items you purchase from this post. As always, you can trust me to only recommend what I love, what I have loved to gift and/or receive, and what I use (and paid for) myself.

👁️ Thoughtfulness – always en vogue

«Of course I remember this about you» is a real love language because it shows you’ve been paying attention not just in the lead up to their birthday or the holidays, but always.

They told you about their favourite cookie? Bake a batch for them. (Mine.) The hard-to-find fruit their grandparents used to cut up for them as a kid and or the childhood candy that makes them feel nostalgic? Track it down and deliver it in a pretty box or basket.

A stack of books about something they’re super into at the moment so they can go down the rabbit hole. (Here’s an extensive list of my personal favourites, ranging from the business of wine to typography, to astrology and Dark Academia.)

🕳️ Give the gift of depth

Projectors aren’t exactly known for their prowess when it comes to small talk. (We’d much rather tend to our ravens.) Instead, they like to go deep.

Take the time to really get to know them. (I’m excited to try the dating edition!)

Projectors have a way of seeing and knowing the real you. Help them know themselves.

🛏️ I love you, therefore I let you rest

As undefined sacral beings, Projectors are not designed to be in «go» mode at all times. Even though it can be the hardest thing for them to accept and grant themselves, they do well to get horizontal when they feel fatigue coming on, and… just rest.

Can you take on a task from their to do list so they can have some surprise time to just lounge, read a magazine or take a nap? (Or, one of my all-time favourite gifts to receive: A good old «I’ll deal with something you want to get done but are also completely uninterested in immersing yourself in», such as, for me, comparing mobile data plans or finally getting my water filter installed.)

An acupressure mat to melt some tension while horizontal (I’ve had this exact one for seven years now and use it almost daily).

📺 A winner year round: Actual, real, true recognition

A genuine love note to show them they are truly seen. (I’ve been saving this one for someone special.)
